Our Story

Plutosoft was founded in 2014 by Lindsay Holland, a financial planner and software engineer (CFP), who wanted to create a tool that would make a real difference in her own practice. Drawing on her deep expertise in both financial planning and technology, Lindsay set out to develop a software solution that could support her practice’s unique needs and improve the efficiency of day-to-day operations.

After years of development and testing, Plutosoft was born. What began as a tool to enhance Lindsay’s own practice quickly proved to be a game-changer and a new stand-alone company and management team was formed to share it with the wider financial planning community. Today, Plutosoft is trusted by financial advisers across Australia, helping them transform their businesses and achieve greater success.

In 2024 alone, we introduced over 40 new features and enhancements, all driven by valuable customer feedback. Just like our product, our team is constantly growing—expanding by a third in 2024 as we continue to strengthen our presence across Australia.
